A Marlborough male has sworn at court docket officials and termed a choose a “witch in black”.
Kane Thompson, 34, appeared at the Blenheim District Court on Monday via audiovisual hyperlink, as he was being held in custody on a number of prices.
Thompson referred to himself as “the broken man” from the outset, in advance of turning his attention to court docket officials.

Thompson’s law firm Josh Smith attempted to read out the rates for which Thompson was showing up, but he was interrupted by his consumer, who mentioned, “I’m presenting myself, I don’t need to have to be re-introduced.”
The judge then attempted to tackle the defendant, but Thompson ongoing his outbursts expressing “f… me, I’m f…ed”, causing Judge Rielly to warn him she would have the hearing in his absence.
